Job summary

A leading industrial engineering firm in Malaysia is looking for an experienced professional to establish capacity planning and productivity models. The ideal candidate will have a degree in industrial engineering and 5-8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or process improvement roles. You will coordinate improvements, enforce compliance to quality standards, and oversee capacity ramp-up plans. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD is required. This role offers the opportunity to lead and enhance efficiency in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Establish capacity planning and productivity model database.
• Conduct time and motion study to improve work method.
• Conduct improvement study and improve workstation layout.
• Coordinate machine crating and uncrate, transfer intersite, to machine vendor, to customer.
• Plant layout plans, machine layout plans and workstation layout.
• Coordinate capacity ramp up plan.
• Maintain and update Capacity database when necessary.
• Coordinate factory expansion and new building.
• Quality Accountability:
  • Enforce compliance to standard operating procedures and specifications.
  • Address or escape subordinate feedback.
  • Execute, proliferate, monitor and follow up changes / quality performance.
  • Communicate quality alert / changes to subordinates and peers in a timely manner.
• Any other duties assigned which falls within the above job summary.

Education Level and Field of Study

Degree in industrial engineering or any related field.

Working Experience

Must have 5-8 years of relevant experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing, or process improvement roles. At least 2–3 years in a supervisory or team lead position.
