The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.

Responsibilities
Strategic & Advisory
  • Partner with management to design and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Lead workforce planning, organizational design, and succession management initiatives.
  • Drive culture transformation and employee engagement initiatives that support business growth.
  • Advise management on people-related decisions, including structure, rewards, and performance.
Talent Management & Development
  • Oversee full-cycle talent management — from recruitment to retention and career development.
  • Identify training needs and implement targeted L&D programs for leadership and staff.
  • Develop high-potential programs and performance improvement plans.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Review and enhance compensation frameworks to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.
  • Oversee payroll accuracy, performance bonuses, and benefits administration.
Employee Relations & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters.
  • Maintain and update HR policies, SOPs, and handbooks.
Operational Excellence
  • Lead the HR team in day-to-day operations while continuously improving HR processes and systems.
  • Utilize HR data and analytics to support strategic decision-making.
  • Champion HR digitalization initiatives for better efficiency and visibility.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Proven track record in both operational and strategic HR management.
  • Strong understanding of Malaysian labor law and current HR practices. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Forward-thinking, hands-on leader with the ability to balance strategy and execution.
