Job summary

A human resources consultancy in Ipoh is seeking a Full-time HR Manager to manage the recruitment cycle, maintain employee records, and ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in HR or Business Administration and has 2-3 years of HR experience. Proficiency in HR/payroll software and strong interpersonal skills are preferred. Responsibilities
  • Manage full recruitment cycle: job posting, screening, interviews, and onboarding
  • Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and personnel files
  • Process payroll and ensure timely statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB)
  • Administer employee benefits, leave management, and attendance tracking
  • Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures, and disciplinary processes
  • Handle employee relations and respond to HR-related queries
  • Coordinate performance appraisals and training programs
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws and company regulations
  • Liaise with government bodies, auditors, and HR service providers
  • Handle ad-hoc HR and administrative tasks assigned by management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years HR experience
  • Familiar with Malaysian employment laws and HR practices
  • Experience in payroll processing and statutory submissions
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Able to handle confidential matters and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
