Job summary

A leading elevator company is seeking an experienced HR generalist in Malaysia. The candidate will manage manpower planning, oversee recruitment activities, and process payroll data. Strong communication skills and at least 2 years of experience in HR are required. Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malay, Mandarin, and Japanese is essential. This position involves supporting management reports and ensuring compliance with HR practices.

Qualifications

Responsibilities
  • Manage manpower planning needs and work closely with HR manager in identifying the staffing requirement.
  • Handle end-to-end recruitment activities from screening, shortlisting, coordinate interview, preparation and administering the signing of contracts.
  • Process monthly Leave, Allowances, Unpaid, Lateness pay deduction report/summary and input data for Payroll to process salary (by Payroll Department).
  • Handle New Employees Administration process.
  • Employee welfare (Medical / Insurance and benefit claims, leave management and etc).
  • Assist in preparing and generating ad-hoc reports for management; review HR policies and practices to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Assist in standardizing and streamlining internal HR process; provide HR advice and support to business and employees on a wide range of operational HR issues.
Qualifications
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Human Resource, Psychology, Mass Communications, Business or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in HR generalist.
  • HR Administration Report experience.
  • Ability to write meeting minutes.
  • Experience in full spectrum of Human Resource related work.
  • Training experience.
  • Well‑versed in related regulations and laws, familiar with HR software, and demonstrate strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong sense of urgency; able to prioritize and meet deadlines; willing to be hands‑on when required.
  • Other ad‑hoc duties assigned by superior from time to time (documents preparations, data entry, documents content check, document management, schedule management, document filing, and others related).
Requirements
  • Proficient in English, Bahasa Malay and Mandarin and Japanese.
  • At least 2-3 years working in Human Resource experience.
