Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resource Executive with freight forwarding or manufacturing background to join our dynamic team at Geodis Malaysia Sdn Bhd. This full-time position is based in Subang Jaya, Selangor and will play a crucial role in handling HR related jobs.

What you will be doing
  • Assist in payroll processing and staff claims.
  • In-charge of daily attendance report including data entry of leave applications/ absenteeism and follow-up on absenteeism.
  • Assist in preparation of HR related monthly reports.
  • Opening and maintaining the accuracy and proper filing manner of all filing records.
  • Administration and maintenance of local & global HRIS.
  • Assist in recruitment and selection activities from collecting resumes and arrangement interview.
  • Assist in preparing new staffs’ on-boarding and off-boarding.
  • Assist in training activities which include training arrangement, training record and training evaluation.
  • Provide administrative support on all other HR functions.
  • Contribute to other developing of the department.
  • Participate in Global Process & Tools projects.
  • Provide support to the RPTM for Global HR System data quality assurance.
  • Support RPTM in working with other HR functions specialist (C&B, Talent Acquisition, Talent Dev, Labor etc..) to ensure the good usage of the Global HR System and reports their needs or evolution demands.
  • Support RPTM in collaborating with local HR teams to implement/update global HR processes.
What we are looking for
  • Minimum 2 – 3years of HR related working experience.
  • Possesses at least a Diploma, disciplines of Business Studies/Administration/Management, Human Resource Management would be an advantage.
  • Preferable with some experience in similar roles.
  • Have a passion in HR career.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications, particularly in Word and Excel.
  • Familiar with Malaysia Employment Acts 1955.
  • Familiar with statutory guidelines, eg. EPF, SOSCO, Income Tax & HRDF.
  • Responsible, honest, discreet and protective of confidential information with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to multitask.
  • Accurate and meticulous with an eye for details.
  • Well organized and pro-active in develop structures, methods and tools.
  • A pragmatic approach to work and the ability to be flexible when needed.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships.
