Job summary

A financial services company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an HR professional to assist in recruitment, employee training, and policy development. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, possesses strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, and is fluent in Mandarin, English, and Malay. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently are essential. This role involves crucial administrative support and the maintenance of employee records, contributing to a thriving workplace environment.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
  • Sound knowledge in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Malay both written and verbal.
  • Good interpersonal skills, ethical problem solver, and ability to motivate others.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in recruitment preparation by communicating with candidates.
  • Coordinate education and training with HR management.
  • Assist in enforcing HR policies.
  • Prepare monthly HR reconciliation reports.
  • Maintain effective filing systems for employee records.
  • Provide clerical and office administrative support.

What you’ll do:
  • To assist in recruitment preparation by communicating with candidates and schedule interview.
  • Coordinate with HR Assistant Manager / HR Manager to organize education and training.
  • To assist in developing, implementing enforcing the HR policies.
  • Assist in reconciliation report for monthly HR reports submission by the HR Assistant Manager / HR manager.
  • To assist on upkeep of employees' record and maintain effective filing system.
Administration
  • Provide, clerical and office administrative support.
  • Liaison with relevant local authorities for license and permit application matter.
  • To take charge of office stationery inventory control & distribution.
  • To monitor and up to date all documentation in order.
  • Any ad-hoc tasks that may be needed or assigned by management from time to time.
What we’re looking for:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
  • Sound knowledge in Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin, English and Malay both written and verbal.
  • Good interpersonal skills – motivate others especially employees – managers, ethical problem solver with one thing in mind; transparent resolution and to create the trust that the organization cares.
  • Sound knowledge in EA 1955, IRA 1967 and other related Human Resources compliance and state & federal laws will be added value.
