Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in an HR Generalist or HR Executive role; experience in retail, F&B, or multi‑outlet operations is an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of the Malaysian Employment Act and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with HRIS (Worksy) is an added advantage.
Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Coordinate end‑to‑end hiring for outlet and support office positions.
  • Liaise with hiring managers and outlet supervisors to understand manpower needs.
  • Post job ads, screen applicants, arrange interviews, and conduct reference checks.
  • Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and ensure complete onboarding documentation.
  • Facilitate new‑hire orientation and induction programmes.
HR Operations & Administration
  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS or personnel files.
  • Prepare monthly HR reports (e.g. headcount, turnover, absenteeism).
  • Administer staff benefits, insurance, and leave entitlements.
  • Monitor daily attendance and flag irregularities.
Employee Relations
  • Act as the first point of contact for HR‑related queries at outlet level.
  • Support in handling employee grievances and disciplinary actions in line with company policy and Malaysian Employment Act.
  • Promote a respectful and inclusive work environment.
Training & Development
  • Support the development and execution of training plans for service crew and management staff.
  • Track training completion and provide feedback to managers on progress.
  • Coordinate with external training providers or internal trainers.
Performance Management
  • Support the implementation of the performance appraisal process.
  • Guide supervisors on setting performance goals and evaluations.
  • Assist with performance improvement plans when necessary.
Payroll & Compliance
  • Coordinate with Finance or outsourced payroll vendors to ensure accurate payroll processing.
  • Verify timesheets, overtime claims, and allowance submissions.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRDF, LHDN).
  • Maintain knowledge of local labour laws and ensure HR practices are aligned.
HR Projects & Employer Branding
  • Contribute to HR initiatives such as employee engagement, internal communications and retention programmes.
  • Support the roll‑out of company policies, HR digitisation or audit processes.
  • Assist in career fair participation or employer branding campaigns.
