Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an HR professional in Malaysia to develop and maintain HR policies, manage recruitment processes, and ensure compliance with local labor laws. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree and have 4-6 years of experience in HR, preferably in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and a deep understanding of labor laws are essential for this role, which also involves leading employee engagement initiatives and managing HR administration.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, employee handbooks, and SOPs.
  • Manage HR administration including contracts, employee records, and HRIS updates.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee payroll coordination, benefits administration, and leave management.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for all roles across the company.
  • Partner with hiring managers to refine job scopes, interview processes, and selection methods.
  • Build talent pipelines through proactive sourcing and networking.
  • Strengthen employer branding through recruitment marketing, events, and digital presence.
  • Design and execute employee engagement strategies that enhance morale and retention.
  • Organize team-building activities, onboarding programs, and cultural initiatives.
  • Develop and implement performance review cycles, KPIs, and feedback frameworks.
  • Support managers with performance coaching and workforce planning.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate learning & development programs.
