Job Responsibilities

Oversee the full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance.

Maintain and continuously improve the existing HR policies, SOPs and employee handbook to ensure strong governance and employee experience.

Lead end-to-end recruitment activities: job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding process. Build a strong local talent pipeline.

Manage and prepare monthly payroll, attendance, allowances, leave records, HRIS updates, and employee data accuracy.

Ensure full compliance with Malaysian labor laws, statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB), HR audit requirements, and contractual documentation.

Coordinate annual performance appraisal, probation review, KPI setting, and support salary review/bonus evaluation based on performance outcomes.

Handle employe relations matters professionally, including grievance handling, counseling, disciplinary actions, and investigation reporting.

Plan and execute employee engagement activities, welfare programs, internal communication and culture-building initiatives.

Prepare HR reports such as monthly payroll, headcount, turnover analysis, hiring progress, and provide improvement recommendations to management.

Support office administration functions including asset records, building management liaison, vendor coordination, and office facility matters.

Work closely with senior management to align HR practices with business goals, manpower planning and organizational needs.

Qualifications
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist or managerial capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor law, HR compliance and HR best practices.
  • Able to communicate professionally in Chinese, as the role requires frequent communication with Mandarin-speaking employees, management, and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems, Microsoft Excel and digital HR workflows.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, confidentiality, and ability to build trust with employees at all levels.
  • Hands‑on, organized, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
