About the Role

SummitNext Technologies Sdn. Bhd., a BPO and Technology Solutions provider, is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Lead to oversee and manage end‑to‑end human resources operations. The ideal candidate will have strong HR knowledge within a BPO environment, excellent communication skills, and hands‑on experience in visa and work permit processing. Experience in payroll processing and basic accounting knowledge will be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage day‑to‑day HR operations including onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, and payroll processing.
  • Support hiring needs across BPO operations, ensuring timely and quality manpower delivery.
  • Handle payroll preparation, verification, and coordination, ensuring accuracy and timely salary disbursement.
  • Manage visa, work permit, and employment pass processing for foreign employees.
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws, company policies, and SOPs.
  • Act as the point of contact for employees on HR‑related matters.
  • Coordinate with management on workforce planning and HR initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, payroll data, and employee documentation.
  • Support performance management, disciplinary processes, and employee engagement activities.
  • Work closely with finance/accounts teams on payroll‑related matters.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma / Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in a BPO environment.
  • Fluent in spoken and written Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin‑speaking stakeholders).
  • Good command of English (spoken and written).
  • Strong knowledge of visa and work permit processing in Malaysia.
  • Hands‑on experience in payroll processing.
  • Basic accounting knowledge is an advantage.
  • Familiar with Malaysian employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
