As an HR Executive – Payroll & HR Operations, you’ll support Lee’s mission of food equality by ensuring accurate and timely payroll, maintaining compliant HR processes, and fostering a positive employee experience. By leveraging HRIS systems and collaborating with finance and other teams, you’ll streamline operations, uphold Malaysian labour laws, and support our workforce, enabling millions to access affordable, quality food across Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Management
  • Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately and on schedule.
  • Validate attendance, overtime, allowances, deductions, and leave records.
  • Ensure statutory compliance with EPF, SOCSO, EIS, income tax (PCB), and other government contributions.
  • Generate payroll reports and provide salary slips, tax forms, and annual statements.
  • Coordinate with Finance for salary disbursement and resolve payroll-related queries.
HR Operations & Administration
  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and personnel files.
  • Prepare employment letters, confirmations, transfer letters, and other HR documents.
  • Oversee timekeeping systems, leave management, and attendance monitoring.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding when required.
Compliance & Policy
  • Ensure HR practices meet Malaysian labour law and statutory requirements.
  • Assist in audits and provide required HR/payroll data to regulatory bodies.
  • Participate in policy updates and HR process improvements.
Employee Support & Engagement
  • Address staff questions on salary, benefits, and HR policies.
  • Assist with HR initiatives such as employee engagement programs and performance review cycles.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in payroll processing and HR operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and income tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in HRIS/payroll software (e.g., SQL Payroll, AutoCount, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
  • High attention to detail, confidentiality, and accuracy.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
  • Good communication skills to liaise with employees and external agencies.
