A local company in Malaysia is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processing, maintain employee records, and ensure compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in payroll or HR administration and be proficient in MS Office. Communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia are essential. Handle end-to-end payroll processing including salaries, deductions, overtime, and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, HRD Corp)
Maintain timekeeping, attendance, leave, and employee records
Process new hires, resignations, promotions, and other employee changes
Manage foreign worker permits, passport renewals, and accommodation (hostel) arrangements
Ensure compliance with Employment Act, Malaysian labour laws, and internal policies
Prepare EA forms and Borang E for annual tax filing
Supervise admin staff and handle payroll/HR inquiries
Liaise with auditors and prepare payroll and statutory reports
Perform any ad hoc tasks as assigned by management
