Job summary

A local company in Malaysia is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processing, maintain employee records, and ensure compliance with labor laws. Job description
Responsibilities

Handle end-to-end payroll processing including salaries, deductions, overtime, and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, HRD Corp)

Maintain timekeeping, attendance, leave, and employee records

Process new hires, resignations, promotions, and other employee changes

Manage foreign worker permits, passport renewals, and accommodation (hostel) arrangements

Ensure compliance with Employment Act, Malaysian labour laws, and internal policies

Prepare EA forms and Borang E for annual tax filing

Supervise admin staff and handle payroll/HR inquiries

Liaise with auditors and prepare payroll and statutory reports

Perform any ad hoc tasks as assigned by management

Job Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in payroll or HR administration
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word)
  • Prior experience with Autocount Payroll preferred
  • Independent, strong communication, people management, and multitasking skills
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Women-friendly working environment (Preferred)
  • Work begins at 10am (Skip morning rush hour)
