Job summary

A fast-growing F&B group in Selangor is seeking an HR Executive to join their team. In this role, you will support recruitment, staff engagement, and HR operations to ensure teams are motivated and aligned with company standards. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of HR operational experience. Proficiency in Mandarin is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in HR operations.
  • Required language proficiency: Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in monthly payroll preparation and ensure accuracy.
  • Manage HR operations and maintain personal records.
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding HR-related matters.

Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Strong communication skills in Mandarin
Knowledge of HR operations

Job description

CPI Food Concept is a fast-growing F&B group behind some of Malaysia’s most loved dining brands, including Fei Fan Hotpot, Rocku Yakiniku, and Lucky Mala. We are seeking an HR Executive to join our team and support the people agenda that drives our growth. Reporting to our experienced Head of HR, this role plays a key part in recruitment, staff engagement, training, and HR operations – ensuring our teams are supported, motivated, and aligned with standards.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in monthly payroll preparation and ensure accuracy in overtime, shift allowances, and staff benefits.
  • Manage HR operations, including timely updating and maintenance of personal records in the HR system, as well as tracking of service confirmations and staff movements.
  • Send and arrange uniform requests by outlet.
  • Work closely with outlet managers to ensure manpower planning meets operational demands.
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
  • Handle employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR-related matters.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the HR department, including organising meetings, preparing reports, and handling general office tasks.
  • Carry out, as and when required, any additional tasks and responsibilities which are reasonably compatible with this job description and objectives.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in HR operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiar with I-Payroll (HR2000) system would be an added advantage.
  • Required Language(s): Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
