Job summary

A recruitment company in Malaysia is seeking an HR professional to manage full-cycle recruitment processes. Responsibilities include sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating new hire orientations. The ideal candidate should hold a degree, have at least 1-2 years of relevant experience, and possess strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Additional knowledge of Mandarin is advantageous. This role is pivotal in fostering employee engagement and development.

Job description

Manage full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, interviewing, selection, offers, and hiring.

Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and staffing needs.

Post job advertisements through multiple platforms and manage candidate pipelines.

Conduct interviews, coordinate assessments, reference checks, and background screenings.

Prepare offer letters and employment contracts.

Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation to ensure smooth integration and understanding of company culture, policies, and expectations.

Manage onboarding documentation and induction processes.

2. Employee Development

Support implementation of training and development programs.

Monitor training effectiveness and employee progress.

Coordinate performance management processes, including goal setting and reviews.

Developing and managing the L&D budget, including cost-effective utilization of resources.

3. Employee Relations

Serve as the first point of contact for employee concerns or grievances.

Provide guidance on company policies and workplace behavior.

Support disciplinary and conflict resolution processes.

Organize and coordinate team-building activities to foster collaboration and strengthen team dynamics.

Plan and execute employee events such as appreciation days, celebrations, and company-wide meetings.

Promote activities that improve morale and employee satisfaction.

Ensure that events align with company values and contribute to employee engagement and retention.

PRE-REQUISITES & COMPETENCIES

Degree holders and above.

Minimum 1-2 years working experience in similar capacity.

Reasonable command in written English & Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin will be an advantage.

Always maintain high confidentiality and professionalism.

Possess good communication skills and able to interact with all levels in the organization.

Computer literate and able to communicate well with different characteristics of people.
