Job summary

A food and beverage company in Malaysia is seeking a responsible and motivated HR Executive to support daily HR operations. Key responsibilities include processing payroll, managing foreign worker matters, and assisting in recruitment. Ideal candidates should have a Diploma in HR or Business Admin, with at least 1–2 years of HR experience and strong communication skills in BM and English. The role requires independent work and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1–2 years experience in HR, preferably in F&B or hospitality.
  • Familiar with payroll and foreign worker processes.
  • Willing to travel between outlets/hostels.

Responsibilities

  • Process monthly payroll for local and foreign workers.
  • Verify attendance, OT, allowances, and statutory deductions.
  • Manage foreign worker matters including permit renewal and documentation.
  • Handle staff hostel check-in/out and maintenance.
  • Assist in recruitment, screening, and onboarding.
  • Maintain employee records and HR documents.
  • Support HR administration and ad-hoc tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process monthly payroll for local and foreign workers.
  • Verify attendance, OT, allowances, and statutory deductions.
  • Manage foreign worker matters: permit renewal, passport, FOMEMA, insurance, documentation.
  • Handle staff hostel: check‑in/out, cleanliness, maintenance, utilities.
  • Assist in recruitment: screening, interviewing, preparing offer letters, onboarding.
  • Maintain employee records and HR documents.
  • Support disciplinary matters and HR administration.
  • Handle ad‑hoc HR tasks assigned by management.
Requirements
  • At least Diploma in HR / Business Admin or related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in HR (F&B or hospitality experience is a plus).
  • Familiar with payroll, Employment Act 1955, and foreign worker processes.
  • Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
  • Good communication skills in BM & English.
  • Willing to travel between outlets/hostels.
