A growing corporate firm in George Town, Malaysia, seeks a motivated HR professional to manage recruitment, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws. The successful candidate will assist in the entire recruitment cycle, maintain employee records, support payroll processing, and coordinate onboarding processes. Proficiency in Chinese is essential, along with strong organizational skills and a keen understanding of HR policies. This role required to be able to communicate and read Chinese.
Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Support payroll processing and ensure timely submission of statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparation of offer letters, contracts, and exit interviews.
Assist in organizing training programs, employee engagement activities, and performance appraisal processes.
Handle employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and leave management.
Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws and company policies.
Provide administrative support to senior management, including calendar management, meeting scheduling, and travel arrangements.
Organize and coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
Act as a liaison between senior management and internal/external stakeholders.
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Assist in ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by senior management.
