A premier hotel in Malaysia is looking for a Sales Executive to drive growth through effective sales strategies. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of hotel sales experience, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of meeting sales targets. Responsibilities include evaluating market trends, fostering relationships with key accounts, and collaborating with various departments to implement unified strategies. An advantageous familiarity with channel management systems is desirable.
Create and implement effective sales strategies to surpass sales goals.
Evaluate market trends and competitor actions to uncover new business opportunities.
Work closely with departments like Front Office and Reservations to ensure a unified sales strategy.
Foster strong relationships with key accounts and industry partners to encourage repeat business.
Generate regular sales reports for leadership review.
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in hotel sales.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Demonstrated success in consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Ability to analyze data to guide sales strategies.
Familiarity with channel management systems is advantageous.
Knowledge of IDB systems and experience in boutique or independent hotels is beneficial.
Capable of working independently and managing multiple priorities.
