As the Hotel Duty Manager you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our hotel located in Melaka. This full-time position requires you to oversee the front office and guest services, making sure our customers receive an exceptional experience throughout their stay.

What you'll be doing

Supervise and coordinate the front office team, including receptionists, concierge and guest services staff

Respond to guest inquiries and address any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner

Manage the daily operations of the hotel, including check‑in/check‑out procedures, room assignments, and housekeeping coordination

Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures to maintain high standards of service and guest satisfaction

Assist with the planning and execution of special events, functions, and promotions

Monitor and report on hotel performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement

Liaise with other department heads to ensure seamless cross‑departmental coordination

Provide leadership, training, and development opportunities for the front office team

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar hotel duty manager or front office supervisor role

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

Excellent customer service orientation and problem‑solving abilities

Proficient in hotel management software and systems

Thorough understanding of front office operations, hotel policies, and industry regulations

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written

Flexible and adaptable, able to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
