Job description

We are seeking an experienced Hospital Administrator to join the team at Hospital Lam Wah Ee. This full-time role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative operations of the hospital, ensuring the efficient and effective management of resources in support of the organisation’s strategic goals.

What you’ll be doing

Manage and oversee the hospital’s administrative functions, including, but not limited to, nursing, allied health, human resources, finance, information technology, and facilities management.

Develop, implement, and review policies, procedures, and systems to streamline administrative processes and enhance overall operational efficiency.

Liaise with hospital departments to identify and address administrative issues, and implement effective solutions to improve operations.

Recommend policy changes to the Medical Superintendent and Executive Committee to improve quality of care and operational effectiveness.

Coordinate with stakeholders and relevant parties to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, licensing matters, audit processes, and other operational concerns, including patient complaints, cost compliance, and related issues.

Liaise with consultants and doctors regarding contracts, terms of engagement, and licensing requirements.

Represent the hospital at meetings, conferences, and other events as required.

Plan, manage, and coordinate major hospital events and meetings, including Executive Committee (EXCO) meetings, and other key functions.

A bachelor’s degree in management, business administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a hospital or healthcare administration role.

Strong understanding of healthcare industry regulations, policies, and best practices.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.

A strong commitment to drive the organisation to meet its objectives.
