A leading company in technical operations is seeking a Head of Operations to lead their diverse operational areas in Malaysia. The successful candidate will manage key areas including technical services, procurement, and customer service to align with organizational goals. A Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of experience in an operations leadership role are required. The role demands strong leadership skills and proficiency in Bahasa, Mandarin, and English. Lead & Manage: Oversee technical, installation, customer service, procurement, logistics, and branch operations to achieve organizational goals.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement operational plans, SOPs, and policies to improve efficiency and service delivery.
Performance Management: Set KPIs, monitor departmental performance, and ensure accountability.
Process Optimization: Identify gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and reduce costs.
Customer Service Excellence: Ensure high standards of customer satisfaction through effective service delivery and issue resolution.
Procurement & Supply Chain: Manage vendor relationships, procurement activities, and inventory control for cost‑effective sourcing.
Branch Oversight: Supervise branch operations to ensure compliance and alignment with business objectives.
Budget & Resource Allocation: Manage operational budgets and optimize resource utilization.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and mitigate operational risks.
Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in operations leadership role, managing cross‑functional teams including technical services, customer service, installation, logistics, and procurement.
Technical Knowledge: Proven experience working in a product‑based SME environment, preferably in air ventilation, HVAC, air conditioning, mechanical/electrical systems, or similar technical product industries.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage multiple branches.
Language Proficiency: Ability to speak Bahasa, Mandarin, and English is essential for effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
