- Oversee recruitment for all positions, from dealership management to service technicians, sales consultants, and administrative staff.
- Develop talent acquisition strategies to attract skilled automotive professionals.
- Lead succession planning, career path development, and internal promotion programs.
- Implement onboarding and orientation programs tailored for dealership operations.
3. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR policies, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters.
- Promote employee engagement initiatives to reduce turnover and enhance workplace satisfaction.
- Monitor employee morale and address concerns proactively, especially in high-turnover areas like sales and service.
4. Performance Management
- Design and implement performance appraisal systems for dealership staff.
- Align KPI frameworks for sales teams, service technicians, and support functions.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance improvement plans.
- Develop competitive compensation and incentive structures for sales, service, and administrative staff.
- Oversee payroll, allowances, and benefits administration.
- Regularly benchmark salaries and benefits within the automotive retail sector.
- Identify training needs across sales, service, and management teams.
- Conduct compliance and safety training, especially for service workshop staff.
7. HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with Malaysian labor laws and automotive industry regulations.
- Maintain HR records and reports across multiple dealership locations.
- Manage HR systems (HRIS) and automate processes where possible for efficiency.
8. Organizational Development
- Support dealership group in change management initiatives.
- Recommend organizational structure improvements for operational efficiency.
- Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration between sales, service, and administrative teams.
9. Employer Branding
- Promote the dealership group as an employer of choice in the automotive industry.
- Develop initiatives to attract and retain top talent in competitive markets.
