Qualifications

• 10–15 years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
• Minimum 5-10 years in a senior finance role (Senior Manager / Head of Finance / DGM-equivalent).
• Strong exposure to statutory reporting, audit, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end accounting and financial reporting activities.
• Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and tax requirements.
• Establish and maintain effective internal controls and financial procedures.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and banking matters.
• Lead and develop the finance & accounts team.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Accounting
  • Oversee end-to-end accounting and financial reporting activities
  • Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing
  • Prepare and review statutory financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards
  • Ensure accuracy of balance sheet reconciliations and management reports
• Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis
  • Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes
  • Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis
  • Support management with financial insights and cost control initiatives
• Compliance, Audit & Tax
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and tax requirements
  • Manage external audits and liaise with auditors and tax advisors
  • Ensure timely submission of tax filings and statutory returns
  • Address audit findings and implement corrective actions
• Internal Controls & Governance
  • Establish and maintain effective internal controls and financial procedures
  • Ensure adherence to approval limits and company policies
  • Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation measures
• Cash Flow & Treasury
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and banking matters
  • Oversee payment processes, collections, and bank reconciliations
• Leadership & Stakeholder Management
  • Lead and develop the finance & accounts team
  • Act as the key finance contact for management and external stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement and efficiency within the finance function

Requirements
