Head of Commercial – BioMethanol Project | Energy Transition | Malaysia | RM20,000

Join a leading Malaysian energy distributor on an ambitious decarbonization initiative. We're looking for a senior Head of Commercial to lead the commercial strategy and offtake planning for a Biomethanol production project. You will collaborate closely with project leaders and executive stakeholders to secure agreements, develop partnerships, and shape commercial frameworks aligned with international energy and shipping standards.

Salary & Client

Salary: Up to RM20,000/month

Client Type: Leading national energy distribution company

Qualifications
  • 10–15 years’ experience in Sales & Marketing, preferably in biomethane/biomethanol, chemical, or petrochemical sectors
  • Strong network and commercial insight in the shipping or petrochemical industry
  • Skilled in JV/partnership negotiation, offtake agreements, and business modeling
  • Able to manage stakeholders across multiple levels and disciplines
  • Familiarity with international fuel/environmental policies (IMO, Fuel EU, ETS, ISCC, etc.)
  • Excellent adaptability and business development mindset
