Overview

This company is a well-established multinational organisation in the shipping and maritime services industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and implementation of performance management frameworks aligned to financial and strategic goals.
  • Drive a high-performance culture focused on accountability, results, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with senior leaders to shape mindsets and behaviours that strengthen cost efficiency and ROI.
  • Integrate performance and financial accountability into leadership development, succession, and onboarding programs.
  • Oversee cultural and change management initiatives to ensure agility, operational excellence, and sustained business impact.
  • Promote innovation and adaptability to support business transformation and growth.
  • Ensure performance frameworks deliver measurable outcomes tied to financial metrics.
  • Champion cross-functional collaboration to embed performance discipline across the organisation.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to leadership on linking people, culture, and financial performance.

The successful candidate would be able to lead cultural transformation and mindset shifts with senior leadership to embed financial accountability and continuous improvement at all levels.

Key Requirements
  • Minimum 12 years' experience in HR, Finance, Business Transformation, or related fields, with strong exposure to organisational development, performance management, and financial impact analysis.
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale culture and transformation initiatives that deliver measurable financial results.
  • Prior experience with finance or accounting processes (budgeting, cost management, performance analysis) is highly desirable.
  • Ability to translate performance and cultural strategies into tangible financial and operational improvements.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, data analytics, or AI tools for performance and financial tracking is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of the Malaysian education and business landscape.
