About the Company

This company is based in Selangor with a diverse operations around this region centered around the Plantation industry. They have been a key player for decades, with a strong foothold in this segment and is now looking to expand the team with the hiring of a Head of Finance. This position will join their esteemed Finance team at Group level.

About the Role

As a leader in the senior management team, this position will support the CFO and manage the overall Finance function. Your responsibilities includes:

• Manage the Finance function encompassing the day-to-day accounting operations
• Ensure timely Financial Reporting and Statutory Reporting in accordance to listing requirements
• Compliance to controls to ensure strong internal controls and drive corporate governance aligned with Group policies and procedures
• Efficient management of the company's assets and liquidity through management of Group Treasury
• Deliver insights and strategic recommendations to the CFO and senior leadership team aside from playing a finance business partnering role
• Support CFO in providing the BOD with timely insights and recommendations for decision-making

Qualifications

To ensure your success in this role, you will need:

• Minimum of 20 years experience in Finance & Accounting
• At least 10 years experience in a people management role
• Professionally qualified and a member of accounting bodies such as ICAEW, ACCA or CPA
• Strong experience in the Plantation industry
• Big 4 audit experience
• Strong stakeholder management skill
• Good interpersonal skill and ability to drive performance of the Finance function
• Good attention for detail
