A design and exhibition company in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced professional to plan and execute both permanent and temporary exhibitions. Responsibilities include managing exhibits and related content, coordinating museum events like workshops and talks, and enhancing visitor engagement. The ideal candidate should have over three years in graphic design, be fluent in Mandarin, and proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, showcasing creativity and attention to detail.
Plan and execute permanent and temporary exhibitions
Develop exhibition themes, narratives (storylines), and content structures
Manage exhibits, exhibition texts, and educational content
Ensure the professionalism, accuracy, and audience engagement of exhibition content
Plan and execute museum events, including opening ceremonies, workshops, talks, and festive programs
Design audience engagement and experiential activities
Coordinate event workflows, venues, and scheduling
Present exhibition content to visitors, answer inquiries, and enhance the overall visitor experience
Explain durian varieties, stories, and interesting facts to visitors
Maintain visitor order and address frequently asked questions
Collaborate with marketing, operations, education, and technical teams
Support branding initiatives, public education, and community engagement programs
Develop timelines for curatorial and event planning
Manage budgets and resources related to exhibitions and events
3 years and above of experience in graphic design or related creative field.
Fluent in Mandarin (mandatory), with good command of English and Bahasa Melayu.
Strong understanding of branding and visual identity.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent tools.
Creativity, attention to detail, and strong visual sense.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects at once.
