A financial services company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a finance professional with expertise in general ledger accounting and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will manage cash flow, prepare financial reports, and assist in audits. Applicants should have a degree in finance and 5–10 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in ERP systems like SAP and Oracle. Fluency in Mandarin is mandatory. Handle daily general ledger accounting to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
Manage company cash flow, including payments, receipts, and bank reconciliations; perform cashier-related duties.
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, conduct financial analysis, and provide management insights.
Assist with year-end audits, tax filings, and compliance-related matters.
Optimize financial processes to improve efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
Support the team with other finance-related tasks as required.
Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
5–10 years of relevant finance experience; experience handling full sets of accounts is preferred.
Strong expertise in general ledger accounting, treasury/cashier functions, and financial analysis; able to independently complete month-end closing and reporting.
Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong communication skills, high sense of responsibility, and strong attention to detail.
Fluent in Mandarin.
Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
Experience working in multinational companies or within Malaysia.
Familiarity with Malaysian taxation and accounting standards.
