Our client is a large conglomerates (IT software) is looking for Functional Consultant, Warehouse Management System (WMS) based in KL. They are seeking an experienced WMSFunctional Consultant to support the design, configuration, implementation, andoptimization of our Warehouse Management System. The ideal candidate willtranslate business requirements into effective WMS solutions, drive processimprovements in warehouse operations, and ensure seamless integration with othersystems. This role requires deep functional knowledge of warehouse processesand hands-on experience with leading WMS platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements fromwarehouse and logistics stakeholders.
  
• Configure and customize WMS functionality (e.g., receiving,put-away, picking, packing, shipping, inventory management, labormanagement, yard management).
  
• Support system integration between WMS and ERP (e.g., SAPS/4HANA, Oracle), TMS, and automation systems (e.g., conveyors, AS/RS, RFscanners).
  
• Develop and execute test scripts (unit, integration, UAT);support defect resolution.
  
• Provide end-user training and create functional documentation(process flows, configuration guides, SOPs).
  
• Troubleshoot operational issues and recommend continuousimprovement opportunities.
  
• Collaborate with technical teams, projectmanagers, and change management leads throughout the project lifecycle.
  

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, InformationSystems, or a related field.
  
• 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Functional Consultant onWMS implementations (e.g., SAP EWM, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, Oracle WMSCloud, Infor SCM, etc.).
  
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations: inbound/outboundlogistics, inventory accuracy, cycle counting, cross-docking, wavemanagement, and slotting.
  
• Experience integrating WMS with ERP systems and materialhandling equipment (MHE) is highly desirable.
  
• Familiarity with process automation, barcode/RFID technologies,and real-time data capture.
  
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholdermanagement skills.
  
• Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-site, or global deploymentenvironments.
  
• Certification in a major WMS platform (e.g., SAP EWM) is aplus.
