Overview

Chrisjac Recruitment is collaborating with a highly reputable international logistics freight forwarder in seeking a passionate Freight Logistics Coordinator to join their team in Petaling Jaya. The main business office is at Kelana Jaya with an overseas agency network. Job Title

Freight Logistics Coordinator (Permanent; Full-time)

Responsibilities

• Interface between international and domestic service providers and within broader business operations.
• Work within a close, supportive Export department team to guide assigned clients through a seamless shipping and logistics process, acting as the link between internal departments and external service providers.
• Handle export shipments for all LCL clientele from freight bookings and allocations to final delivery and cargo receiving to clients overseas.
• Receiving and processing bookings of shipments.
• Coordinating bookings with shipping liners.
• Liaising and coordinating with clients, shipping carriers, and overseas agents.
• Preparing relevant export documentation.
• Preparing freight/shipping rates and raising/issuing invoices.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of 2–3 years of freight operations experience in handling exports, including recent experience in export operations within forwarding or with a co-loader.
• A strong understanding of international shipping and domestic transport is highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate; accurate comprehension of information is imperative as you liaison with a variety of stakeholders to achieve the desired outcome for business clients.
