Job summary

A leading e-commerce platform in Malaysia is looking for an Automotive Maintenance Manager. The ideal candidate will have a Certificate or Diploma in Automotive Technology and at least 5 years of experience in vehicle maintenance or workshop management. Responsibilities include overseeing routine maintenance tasks, ensuring safety protocols, and managing a team of technicians. The role requires excellent diagnostic skills and the ability to communicate effectively within a dynamic environment. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 7pm.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in vehicle maintenance or workshop management.
  • Hands-on experience with vehicle repairs including battery, brake, wiring, air conditioning, and tyre services.
  • Ability to manage and guide a small team of technicians effectively.

  • Handle routine maintenance tasks such as regular maintenance, battery checks, brake maintenance, wiring, air conditioning maintenance and tire services.
  • Puspakom inspection readiness checking.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols.
  • Maintain 5S standard in the workshop working environment.
  • Monitor work quality and ensure that tasks are completed on time.
Requirements
  • Certificate / Diploma in Automotive Technology or Motor Vehicle Mechanics or any related field.
  • 5 years of experience in vehicle maintenance or workshop management.
  • Hands‑on experience with vehicle repairs, including battery, brake, wiring, air conditioning, and tyre services.
  • Ability to manage and guide a small team of technicians effectively.
  • Strong diagnostic skills to identify and resolve mechanical/electrical issues.
  • Ability to communicate instructions clearly and effectively.
  • Able to work independently in a dynamic and diverse environment.

Working pattern: 5 days week, Monday to Friday (Saturday if required will be considered OT), 9am - 7pm
