The Financial & Technical Records Executive plays a key role in supporting aircraft maintenance operations by overseeing financial controlling and technical records management. This position ensures accurate invoicing, cost monitoring, compliance, and proper documentation across aircraft maintenance projects at Skyways Technics Aircraft Maintenance Sdn Bhd (STAM), Malaysia.
Prepare accurate and timely invoicing for all maintenance-related activities at STAM, Malaysia, in accordance with approved budgets and internal procedures.
Monitor, track, and report maintenance manhours, ensuring alignment with project schedules and identifying opportunities for efficiency improvement.
Perform financial controlling of aircraft maintenance projects to ensure budget adherence, timely execution, and compliance with established processes and quality standards.
Organize, manage, and maintain project work packs, ensuring all technical records meet regulatory, compliance, and traceability requirements.
Ensure proper handling, filing, and archiving of technical documentation in accordance with aviation standards and company policies.
Collaborate closely with internal teams, external partners, and relevant stakeholders to support smooth project execution and resolve financial or technical issues efficiently.
Provide general administrative support to the Technical Services team, including document preparation, data entry, and systematic filing.
Maintain and update internal records, trackers, and spreadsheets related to maintenance and project activities.
Assist in coordinating meetings, preparing minutes, and tracking action items when required.
Support day-to-day departmental administrative tasks as assigned by the reporting superior.
Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) with good overall IT literacy.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and committed to continuous process improvement.
Proactive problem-solver with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in financial controlling, technical records management, or project administration.
Proven financial controlling experience in a similar role, preferably within the aviation, engineering, or technical industry.
Strong communication skills with fluency in English (written and verbal).
Experience in Aviation, MRO, Engineering, Technical Services, or Maintenance environments is highly preferred.
