Job description

The employer is a well‑established large organisation operating in the semiconductor sector. They are committed to maintaining high standards in their financial operations and fostering a professional and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Month‑End & Year‑End Closing – Coordinate and finalise monthly and yearly financial closing activities for assigned operations.
• Accounts Receivable Management – Supervise invoicing, sales returns, and credit control, while monitoring aging reports and following up on outstanding receivables.
• Financial Documentation & Compliance – Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers, ensure proper filing of supporting documents, and adhere to company policies and statutory requirements.
• Fixed Asset Administration – Manage the fixed asset register including capitalisation, depreciation, and disposals, conduct full physical asset verification, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Transfer Pricing Compliance – Prepare and maintain required transfer pricing documentation and coordinate with external advisor to meet regulatory reporting obligations.
• Taxation Oversight – Manage corporate tax, GST/VAT, and withholding tax compliance; coordinate with tax advisor; and ensure timely adoption of regulatory changes and tax policies.
• Year‑End Audit Coordination – Work closely with external auditors by preparing schedules, addressing audit queries, providing documentation, and implementing corrective actions from audit findings.
• Continuous Process Improvement – Identify areas to enhance financial processes, promote automation and digitalization, and develop dashboards and KPIs to support better decision‑making.
• Internal Controls & Policy Management – Ensure financial processes follow internal controls and regulations, update SOPs and finance process flows, and conduct periodic compliance and risk reviews.

Qualifications

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred.
• At least 8 years of relevant working experience with at least 3 years managerial experience.
• Prefer someone with semiconductor industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
