Job summary

An established industrial company in Malaysia is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee finance and accounting functions for its scaffolding subsidiary. The role involves financial reporting, cash flow management, and cost control. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and have 5–8 years of finance experience, including management experience. Qualifications

  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant finance experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience in construction, scaffolding, rental, trading, or project-based businesses is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to converse in Mandarin language as required to liaise with Mandarin speaker counterparts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, and monthly/quarterly/year-end closing.
  • Prepare accurate and timely management reports and financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with MFRS, statutory requirements, tax regulations, and audit standards.
  • Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting exercises.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, inventory, and receivables.
