A reputable company in Subang Jaya is seeking a Finance Manager to manage financial accounts, assist with budgeting and financial planning, and liaise with external auditors. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accountancy, with at least 5 years of experience in the construction industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software is required. This position offers opportunities for career growth and contributions to business strategies.
Preparing management account for company group of companies on timely manner on monthly basis as well as quarterly results for Bursa announcement.
Assisting the Head of department in analysing and reporting of the company’s financial positioning accordance to the company’s policies i.e. cost and revenues, effectively and efficiently in order to provide insight into business performance for decision making, business planning and costs control.
Assisting the Head of Department in financial planning and budgeting process on timely manner in line with internal policy.
Assisting the Head of Department in designing an effective budget model for departments and the entire company to improve budgeting and budget monitoring process in accordance with standard practice.
Analyse financial information and financial consequences of business decision to ensure all operations are within budget and review additional budget requests for approval and forecast future budget needs.
Providing business data and analysis to respective Heads of Department to assist in business decision and cost control on timely basis in accordance with required format.
Coordinating tax and audit related matters and requirement in accordance with statutory requirement and accounting standard.
Performing any other daily accounting related duties as assigned by Management effectively and efficiently.
Liaise with external parties e.g. auditor, legal advisor, corporate advisor etc for tax, auditing and all corporate matters.
Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
Preparation of periodic budget and projection of cash flow.
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma / LCCI Level in Accountancy / Finance / Banking or equivalent
Preferably with minimum 5 years working experience in Finance and Accounting department in the construction industry.
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
Knowledgeable in an Accounting Software (SQL will be an added advantage)
Good communication skill, both oral and written
