Job summary

A leading gaming company in Malaysia is looking for a Finance professional to manage various financial, accounting, and administrative tasks. The suitable candidate should have a degree in Finance or Accountancy, along with 2–3 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, handling banking transactions, and coordinating with external parties. A team player who can work under pressure is preferred. About the Position

The Finance role will perform a variety of finance, accounting and administrative duties to ensure efficient day-to-day operations of the company, relieving its Management of day-to-day finance and administrative matters.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing full sets of accounts for companies. (Added advantage if experienced)
  • Preparing customer invoices and assisting in collections.
  • Handling all banking transactions.
  • Preparing weekly payments for companies.
  • Performing data entry for accounting transactions.
  • Preparing bank reconciliation statements and weekly bank balances.
  • Generating monthly accounting schedules and other relevant management reports on a timely basis, meeting deadlines.
  • Performing daily accounting tasks (e.g., AP & AR processes, GL, account reconciliation, claims, and expense control).
  • Coordinating and liaising with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretarial agents.
  • Assisting in vendor and client registration.
  • Supporting other departments and ad‑hoc tasks as required.
  • Assisting in E‑invoice preparation and VAT filings.
Qualifications
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree/Postgraduate diploma/Professional Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or equivalent.
  • Required language: English.
  • At least 2–3 years of working experience in a related field.
  • Required skills: Full set of accounts (added advantage), Excel (Competent level), and familiarity with accounting systems such as Dynamics 365, Oracle, etc.
  • Preferably a Senior Executive specialized in Finance-General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
  • Junior Executives are welcome too.
  • A team player with a mature personality, independent, and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
