Job summary

A licensed financial services company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Finance Executive to join their finance department. This role involves executing financial operations, ensuring accurate processing and reconciliation of records, managing accounts receivable and payable, and supporting audits. The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Accounting and at least 1 year of experience in financial transaction processing. A salary range of RM 3,500 - RM 4,500 is offered for this position.

Qualifications

  • Experience in payment processing and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate processing and reconciliation of accounting records.
  • Handle accounts receivable and payable tasks.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Issue compensation and support audits.

We are representing our client, a licensed financial services company with their office location based in KL Eco City. They are currently on a look out for a FinanceExecutive to support their finance department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute work operation of Finance to ensure smooth, accurate and timely processing and reconciliation of accounting records
  • Accounts Receivable
    • Daily basis
    • Pick up daily commission report and ensure accuracy generate by provider
    • Work closely with provider in resolving commission issues.
    • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in posting of receipts
  • Accounts Payable
    • Daily basis
    • Ensure payables guidelines, policies and controls in order
    • Process the payment (Cheques/ Giro/ PayNow/ bank transfer)
    • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in posting of payments
  • Reconciliation
    • Monthly Bank Reconciliation payments and receipts
    • GST
  • Compensation
    • Issue compensation twice a month (14th & 29th)
    • Import the commission report
    • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in compensation payout
    • Work closely with various internal stakeholders in resolving issues.
    • Support UAT for the enhancement
  • Others
    • Support audit and tax matters
    • Perform ad-hoc admin and finance duties
Requirements:
  • Minimum Diplomain Accounting or relevant field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience offinancial transaction operational processing, payment processing, reconciliation
  • Competent with advance Excel, Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of basic insurance accounting

Working Hours: 9am to 6pm

Salary: RM 3,500 - RM 4,500
