A reputable financial services group in Shah Alam is seeking a Senior Executive/Manager in Finance & Admin. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, managing reports, ensuring compliance with taxation, and leading the financial team. With over 3 years of experience in financial reporting and governance, strong leadership abilities are crucial. Handle in financial operations as required by the laws and regulations of Malaysia and the governance policies of (Group) and subsidiaries where applicable
To be responsible for Annual Reports and overseeing the annual audit process in accordance with Group standards using Deloitte
To be responsible for Taxation Submission with Group standards using KPMG
To produce Monthly Flash Statements, Monthly Management Accounts and other such reports as may be required from time‑to‑time in accordance with the requirements of Group, the Regional General Manager and other business units with the Group as authorized by the General Manager or other Group representative as provided by the General Manage, Regional General Manager or Group Director.
To monitor, analyze and report for and to the General Manager on monthly expenses of all departments and direct market business units and provide advice on if they are at reasonable levels when compared to last year and within Plan.
To advise and volunteer comments to the General Manager, Regional General Manager, Group Director and other Group employees on accounting matters.
To act as liaison with outside professionals, including those specializing in auditing, tax, banking and governmental services.
To oversee cash flow and cash management functions and immediately report any discrepancies or variation to the General Manager.
To establish and manage accounting and admin policies, administer personnel costs, including payroll procedures and system, contribution to EPF, Sosco, EIS, HRDF, commissions, staff incentives, life, accident and medical insurance matters and to maintain central salary records.
To determine the monetary responsibility of all our customers and establish credit limits, collection, overdue, escalates collection efforts to collection agents or lawyer, if required.
To recruit, train, motivate and retain high quality staff within your own department and that they are rewarded (in line with market values) in a way that rewards real efforts which remain affordable in the medium and long term.
Ensure employee data/profile are well maintained, to support all internal or external information requirements (statutory, regional/ divisional/ medical/ insurance/ approved activity)
Ensure performance process / cornerstone records / HR related reporting are well coordinated.
Ensure HR platform (iLogin – E-Claim and E-Leave) are well coordinated.
Responsible to ensure MY Team is brief and guided by related procedure, process and compliance.
Review and ensure our MY Team relevant IT/ IS access is updated promptly.
