Role Overview
  • Setting-up and operating inspection and/or manufacturing tools/equipment such as conventional electrical discharge machines, grinders, precision assembly devices, peen machines, TIG-tack welder, heat treat, plasma spray, etc.
  • Performing basic mathematical calculations.
  • Using precision gages/fixtures and inspection measuring equipment and interpreting mechanical blueprints, sketches, engineering specifications and drawings, etc., to determine set‑ups and operations necessary to complete job tasks.
  • Training duties.
  • Performing related environmental, health, safety, maintenance, quality, continuous improvement, and production‑flow job duties to support plant machinery, equipment, and manufacturing‑related initiatives and programs.
  • Maintaining detailed job task documentation, reports, and records.
  • Overtime: The role may require working overtime based on operational needs.
  • Rotational Shifts: This position operates on a rotational shift basis, which may include morning and evening shifts as per the assigned schedule.
  • Weekend Availability: The role requires availability to work on weekends, as part of the rotational schedule or as needed to support business operations.
  • Work location: Subang and will be stationed at Sepang from Q4 2026.
Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will possess at least 3 years of experience in fan case repairs, welding and CNC machining within aerospace/aviation industry.

Required Qualifications
  • Diploma in Aviation Maintenance or other related technical field.
  • Completed gas turbine module.
  • Min 3 year of experience in fan case repairs, welding and CNC machining in MRO environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and local language.
  • Skillful in MS application (Word, Excel).
  • Have understanding of EH&S processes and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in setting up and operating machine/manufacturing tools and equipment.
  • Able to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, drawings, engineering specifications, etc.
  • Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Able to use of manufacturing/machine tool, measuring equipment and gauges.
  • Willing to apply Flight Deck fundamentals.
  • Demonstrated ability in maintaining relationships by recognizing needs and sensitivities of others, cooperating and resolving conflicts that inspire the team in achieving objectives and deliverables.
  • Demonstrated ability in receiving guidance and supervision, following work rules, safety practices, work procedures; meeting deadlines; and punctuality and attendance standards.
