Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Facility Section Head (Engineering & Operations) to oversee the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of plant and facility systems. This role is responsible for ensuring reliable facility operations, supporting capital and improvement projects, optimizing energy performance, and maintaining full compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, and vendors to support efficient plant operations and drive sustainable, safe, and cost-effective facility performance.
Responsibilities
- Facility Operations & Maintenance
- Lead and perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility systems including HVAC, cleanroom, electrical, mechanical, and process utilities.
- Ensure smooth and uninterrupted plant operations by promptly resolving facility and equipment-related issues.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance and improvement works to enhance system reliability and minimize downtime.
- Monitor facility system performance and recommend corrective or improvement actions where required.
- Project Execution & Technical Support
- Manage and support the installation, testing, and commissioning of facility systems, ensuring compliance with technical standards and quality requirements.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure project alignment with design intent.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams during project execution.
- Monitor project progress, manpower, schedules, and material usage to ensure timely and efficient completion.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and prepare testing, commissioning, and progress reports.
- Energy & Performance Optimization
- Conduct energy analysis, load assessments, and system evaluations to improve operational efficiency.
- Support and implement energy-saving, cost-reduction, and sustainability initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for performance optimization across facility systems.
- Safety, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
- Promote and sustain 5S practices and a culture of continuous improvement within facility operations.
- Provide hands-on technical support during audits, inspections, and continuous improvement projects.
- Ensure all maintenance and facility operations adhere strictly to regulatory, safety, and corporate governance requirements.
