Job description

We are seeking a Facilities Technician to join our team at J.K. Wire Harness Sdn. Bhd. in Johor Bahru, Johor. This full-time role will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of our office and manufacturing facilities, ensuring a safe, functional and comfortable working environment for our employees.

What you'll be doing

• Building maintenance and facility job scope including worker hostels.
• Maintain warehouse equipment such as forklifts, electric hand lifts, electrical stackers, wrapping machine, fire extinguishers, hose reels, hydrants, FAP, pump room, water dispenser, CCTV and GMT equipment.
• Involve in warehouse project improvement activities such as rewiring electrical cable, LAN cable, floor & wall painting, lighting works, and storage rack fabrication for new models.
• Involve in recycle works referring to warehouse and delivery materials, including recycling wooden pallets, stamping & painting skid & poly boxes, and touch‑up of broken poly boxes.

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Certificate in Building Services Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Facilities Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong working knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security.
• Proficient in the use of tools and equipment required for facilities maintenance and repair.
• Excellent problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Good communication and customer‑service skills to liaise with employees and vendors.
• Basic computer skills to maintain records and documentation.
