As a Facilities Engineer at Lam, with your project management expertise, you’ll plan and oversee facility changes for plant, tool installations, and production equipment layouts. You'll work with architects to develop design criteria, layouts, and prepare contracts. You inspect construction and installation progress to ensure adherence with established specifications and schedules. Your focus on performance specifications required to meet unique operating conditions contributes to the efficiency and compliance of Lam's state of the art facilities.

The impact you’ll make

As a Facilities Mechanical Engineer at Lam, you will lead and manage the facilities mechanical systems. You are the system owner to manage the reliability of facilities mechanical systems like chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, dryers, fire and life safety systems including all cleanroom equipment. You will be managing system expansion related to new projects, providing technical solutions for repair and maintenance works, life cycle maintenance for system owned and managing facilities operation management team. For new projects or expansions, you will work with consultants to design and commission new systems. You will be required to work on improvement projects such as energy management, sustainability related projects. You must be able to coordinate and engage with cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement to deliver facilities operational excellence.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a Facilities mechanical engineer who is passionate about managing facilities of semiconductor manufacturing operation and facilities associated. The ideal candidate must have semiconductor operation including cleanroom managing experience. We need strong skills in communication, teamwork & leadership capability to manage facilities team and multi-layer contractors.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 3 – 5 years of Facilities engineering responsibilities in facilities of a manufacturing plant
