A leading audit service provider in Malaysia seeks an External Audit Associate who will perform and review audit working papers, prepare financial statements, and deliver quality audit services. Candidates should possess a recognized Degree/Diploma in Accountancy and have at least 1 year of experience in medium to large accounting firms. The role offers not only audit exposure to diverse clients but also quality training and development opportunities, including secondment to the Singapore office.

Qualifications

• A recognized Degree/Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience of at least 1 year in medium and large accounting firms preferred.
• Candidate must be comfortable working in Malacca or Kuala Lumpur.

Responsibilities

• Performing/reviewing audit working papers.
• Preparation/review of financial statements.
• Assist in planning, review, and execution of audit engagements.

Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of general economic trends

Education
