Job Summary

Required Skill(s): require basic experience in export documentation processing and able to learn new things. Preferably entry-level specialized in Logistics/Freight forwarding or equivalent.

Responsibilities
  • Help manage current customer accounts.
  • Deal with a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls.
  • Maintain relationships with carriers and customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers and carriers.
  • Solve customer and carrier problems and help resolve issues.
  • Provide shipment quotes for customers and set up shipments as required by customers.
  • Perform any other assignments as and when directed by supervisors and comply with the company’s rules and regulations.
  • Manage existing customer accounts and build strong client relationships.
  • Handle high volume of inbound and outbound calls related to shipments.
  • Provide shipment quotes and set up bookings based on customer needs.
  • Confirm shipment details with clients and maintain accurate shipment records.
  • Make bookings with shipping lines for weekly freight and container movement.
  • Coordinate with Transport Department for cargo collection and delivery.
  • Label damaged cargo appropriately and notify concerned parties.
  • Ensure all relevant documents are submitted to the Documentation Department for declaration and customs clearance.
  • Prepare and submit Bill of Lading (B/L) documents accurately to shipping lines, Sankhyu Inc. Japan, and other clients.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer and carrier issues.
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by supervisors.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
