A recruitment agency is seeking an Executive/Senior Executive for Group Procurement to handle sourcing and supplier management in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Job description

Executive / Senior Executive, Group Procurement

Handle sourcing and shortlisting reliable suppliers , involve in price negotiation, review and recommendation of purchase.

To work with Procurement GM to set action plan and KPI for the department and ensure the team to work towards target achievement.

To review all work carried out by team (price review, purchase requisition approval, purchase order and etc) prior to submission for Procurement GM’s final review.

To lead the team on supplier assessment exercise (yearly basis).

Assist in Annual Audit. (If any)

Monitor suppliers' progress and facilitate early identification and timely resolutions, problems, changes, disputes and claims.

Maintain awareness of market trends to identify and implement process improvement, reduce costs and increase utilization of resources.

To lead the team to perform all group procurement tender exercise/cost down exercise and contracting activities including pre-qualification, tender management, negotiation.

To review and finalize all contracts/agreement.

To prepare beverages report (Beer and Liquor) and cost saving report (monthly basis).

To monitor and update Tender/RFP/Contract Master List.

To lead the team on project based purchase exercise – For eg. New outlet opening/upgrading/closing of outlet.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.

At least 3-5 years of relevant working experience.

Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Meticulous and resourceful.

With supervisory / team lead experience.

Working hour

9.30AM - 6.30PM (Monday - Friday)
