A leading agri-business company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Procurement / Purchasing Specialist to manage procurement activities, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure compliance with policies. Procurement / Purchasing Specialist (FGV Transport Services Sdn Bhd)
Execute the procurement operational and purchasing activities. Accountable in ensuring compliance to the procurement policies.
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery capabilities
Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies
Negotiate prices, contracts, and payment terms with vendors
Ensure timely delivery of materials and follow up on pending orders
Maintain accurate purchase records, invoices, and documentation
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores/production teams to avoid shortages
Analyse market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities
Resolve supplier-related issues such as delays, shortages, or quality concerns
Coordinate with finance for invoice verification and payment processing
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
