Hume Cement Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated Executive, Procurement to join our team in Gopeng, Perak. This full‑time role will play a crucial part in supporting our company's manufacturing, transportation, and logistics operations by ensuring the efficient and cost‑effective procurement of necessary materials and services.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and implementing procurement strategies to meet the organisation's operational requirements
• Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers to secure the best possible terms and pricing
• Maintaining accurate records of all procurement activities and preparing detailed reports
• Identifying and evaluating new suppliers to expand the company's vendor network
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and preferences
• Monitoring and analysing market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant purchasing regulations

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industries. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders, especially from China
