Job description

The Pricing and Analytics team is a centralized analytics department for the organization. We are a group of young, creative and energetic people who are professionals in product pricing, data analysis and Business Intelligence (Bl) reporting. The team is actively involved in company initiatives for improving the business. You will be part of the MIDM division of the Pricing and Analytics team, responsible for performing Bl reporting activities in tandem with BNM and MSlG's Data Management and Management Information System framework to support MSG's business strategies. You will be using SAP Bl, Tableau, Alteryx and Microsoft Integration Services (SSIS) as well as other related tools to perform business Intelligence reporting in supporting the business decision making process.

Job Description

• Develop, enhance, and maintain BI reports and dashboards to support business monitoring and strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with business users to understand information needs, interpret data, and provide actional insights.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data used for reporting and analysis.
• Manage BI report content and lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and research/explore reporting issues.
• Prepare documentation of reports developed.
• Data management and data analysis related activities where required.
• Any other tasks or projects assigned

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Degree Holder in IT (Data Analysis/Data Engineer), Mathematics, or Data Management related disciplines
• Candidates with operational working experience in general insurance companies.
• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are also encouraged to apply.
• For experienced candidates, you must have exposure to Bl tools such as SA Bl/Tableau/Alteryx/MS SQL Server.
• Proficient in MS Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Planner, SharePoint, List).
• Methodical and detailed.
• Pro-active and hands-on involvement with departmental tasks/activities.
• Customer focused.
• Basic analytical skills in understanding/interpreting data.
• Basic communication skills — Written, spoken and presentation skills in English.
• Good teamwork/able to work well in teams.
