Job summary

A growing retail company in Selangor, Malaysia is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to plan and execute various marketing events including store openings and activations. You'll liaise with stakeholders and manage event logistics, ensuring each event runs smoothly and on budget. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in Marketing or related fields, and 1-2 years of relevant experience is preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Job Description :

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing events, including store opening grand launch, mall & in-store activations, media launches, roadshows & etc.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders from various departments and external partners such as malls, vendors, agencies, and suppliers to ensure smooth event delivery.
  • Assist in event logistics, timelines, budgets, and vendor coordination to ensure events are delivered on time and within budget. Support creative and promotional planning, including event concepts, layouts, customer engagement activities, and on-ground execution.
  • Oversee on-site event operations, including setup, crowd management, consumer journey and post-event dismantling.
  • Coordinate event-related materials such as backdrop, freebies, marketing collaterals & etc.
  • Monitor event performance, gather post-event feedback, and prepare reports on outcomes, learnings & recommendations.
  • Support ad-hoc marketing initiatives, administrative tasks and cross-functional projects as required

Requirements :

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Event Management, Mass Communication, Business or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of relevant working experience in marketing events, activations or event coordination; fresh graduates with internship experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in event planning and execution, including logistics, timelines, and vendor coordination.
