As an Executive, Application Development at Perbadanan PR1MA Malaysia, you will play a vital role in the development and maintenance of the organisation's critical software applications. This full‑time position is based in Ara Damansara, Selangor, and offers the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of innovative technology solutions that support the company's strategic objectives.

What you’ll be doing

Design, develop and implement new software applications and features to meet business requirements

Maintain and enhance existing application systems to ensure optimal performance and functionality

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including business analysts and IT infrastructure specialists, to define and deliver technology solutions

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing timely and effective support to end‑users

Participate in the testing and implementation of application updates and upgrades

Document processes, procedures and technical specifications to support knowledge sharing and future development

What we’re looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience in application development, preferably in the Database Development & Administration domain

Strong programming skills in languages such as JD Edwards, SQL, Python, or Java

Proficient in database design, implementation and administration, with experience using SQL Server or similar RDBMS

Understanding of software development life cycle methodologies and best practices

Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders

Familiarity with agile project management principles and tools
