Overview

Sunway University is seeking an Executive – Administration within the Institute for Global Strategy and Competitiveness to provide essential administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the department’s research unit. This incumbent will support the Director, staff, and partners by handling day-to-day administrative tasks, coordinating internal processes, and stakeholder coordination activities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Director and unit staff.
  • Manage office operations, supplies, communication channels, and filing systems.
  • Support basic Human Resources processes including onboarding and maintaining staff records.
  • Assist with basic financial and procurement documentation.
  • Coordinate meetings, small events, and logistical arrangements.
  • Serve as an administrative liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, calendars, and administrative records.
  • Prepare simple reports, correspondence, and routine communication materials.
  • Support researchers and project teams with administrative tasks.
Requirements
  • Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Business, Social Sciences, or related field.
